ARG eSport Cup series leader slugged with points penalty
ARG eSport Cup series leader Harley Haber has been stung with a 10 point penalty following the stewards investigations from Round 6 of the series at Phillip Island.
Haber, representing the V8 Touring Car class in the Kumho Tyres entry, was involved in an incident with S5000 driver James Golding at Turn 5 on lap 2. The collision saw Golding leave the circuit and lose valuable positions at the the Victorian venue.
The penalty sees Haber retain his series lead, however, his advantage is now just nine points ahead of New Zealander Jaden Ransley.
Trans Am contender Nathan Herne was also on the receiving end of a penalty, losing five series points for contact with Thomas Randle.
